PT/PTA – The board does not pre-approve any activities for continuing competence credit. Minimum contact hour requirement from Category A is: 10 for PTs & 5 for PTAs
Category A (approved by a national or state PT association or a component of the association) up to the entire 20 contact hour requirement.
Category B are activities that have not been approved and includes self-instruction directed by a correspondence course, video, internet or satellite program. These activities must relate to the practice of physical therapy with a contact hour maximum of 5 for PTs & 2.5 PTAs. Our online courses are currently in this category.
